Endoscopy Center
The Avamar Center for Endoscopy offers numerous advantages for patients requiring endoscopic procedures.
Avamar Center for Endoscopy, Inc. was founded on November 24, 1999, as an ambulatory surgery center dedicated solely to gastrointestinal endoscopy. It is a newly constructed building with the latest in state-of-the-art medical equipment and a qualified, experienced, and caring medical staff. The Avamar Center for Endoscopy, Inc. is accredited by Medicare and AAAHC and contracted with most local insurance companies.
The Center is the sister organization of Avamar Gastroenterology, INC. The founding physician, Dr. Farid Naffah, has been practicing gastroenterology since 1988 and has been in private practice since 1992.
The Avamar Center is located in an area that provides convenient access to a broad patient base in many neighboring communities. The Center also attracts patients from other metropolitan areas, including Youngstown and Cleveland, as well as numerous counties throughout northeastern Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
The Avamar Center for Endoscopy, Inc. is dedicated to offering the community consistent, high quality care in an efficient and cost-conscious manner. We believe such services must be provided in an environment that emphasizes safety, privacy, patient dignity and confidentiality.
Reception and waiting areas feature impressive artwork and a soothing atmosphere, while classical music imparts a feeling of tranquillity. Overlooking the Avalon Lakes Golf Course, the setting offers a beautiful view.
The facility has been constructed to accommodate disabled individuals. All patient bathrooms are handicap-accessible with a grab-bar railing and an emergency call-light system. Automatic doors have been installed, and access into the facility has been designed to accommodate wheelchair-confined patients.
The immaculately maintained procedure rooms and recovery suite are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The recovery rooms are individual, ensuring privacy and dignity, and their semi-circular spatial design allows efficient monitoring by medical staff.
